On this week's episode of the Eat Green Make Green Podcast, I sit down with the amazing Shawn McCormick, the owner of the Greenlight juice and smoothie bar in Hingham, MA. Shawn and I connected through a previous podcast guest, Dave O'Brien (Episode 22). A number of other people in Hingham had also mentioned I should connect with Shawn, so I was very excited we were able to make this happen. We talk about Shawn's journey from a meat-eating heavy-drinking mortgage professional to a vegan wellness entrepreneur, what triggered Shawn's exploration into plant-based food, the social pressures associated with eating, the many myths associated with protein, how he approaches educating his children about food, and why it's all about doing the best you can. Shawn is an incredible guy and what he's doing at the Greenlight is so inspiring and important.
